Self-Improvement

PS. If you are a book lover, that would be great!

I try my very best to constantly improve myself. And since we are now in information age, I think the best way to initiate self-improvement is through gaining fresh and new knowledge.

I normally do this through:

In my IT field for example, I have colleagues who come from foreign countries and we need to compete with them. Due to the nature of my work, I need to constantly catch up with the latest trends in IT and programming. Nowadays, you have heard about Artificial Intelligence (AI) right? I have to start from bottom to learn this as well.

During my brief stint with entrepreneurship, I also witness various candidates pitching intensely to get funding for their ideas, not just one but many rounds. I still continue to follow and read blogs from Venture Capital firms like Andressen Horowitz (a16z) or pages like Magic, SITEC (Selangor Information Technology & Ecommerce Council) etc to keep up to date.

When I was in primary school, I learned that you need to be competitive – in my case I took up arts class, made preparations and finally taking part in contests – then only you have the chance of achieving victory in real life situations.

I have dreams that I wish to achieve financial success in future, through methods like app success or having own company, but I doubt that I can achieve this if my future partner is the opposite end spectrum of my personality. I hope to achieve financial freedom so that ideally, my partner wouldn’t need to have to work.

Here are some ebooks I have in my iphone waiting to be consumed:
